Sub-ohm vaping is a style of vaping that uses a coil with a resistance of less than 1.0ohm. When it comes to e-liquids, there are a few things to keep in mind when using a sub-ohm vape kit. The first is that you will need an e-liquid with a higher VG content. VG is the component of e-liquid that creates the vapour, so a higher VG content will result in more vapour production.

Secondly, it is recommended to use an e-liquid with a lower nicotine content as the throat hit will be extremely harsh and unpleasant otherwise.

Sub-ohm pod kits combine the unobtrusive design and ease of use of a pod kit with the high power output of a traditional sub ohm kit. The result is a more budget-friendly option that you can fit into your pocket, but still rely on to deliver a genuine sub ohm experience - complete with the increased vapour production.

There is no "better" style of vaping as it merely comes down to what kind of personal experience you want from your vape. If you're someone who is just transitioning from cigarettes to vaping, then we recommend starting off with an MTL device instead as it may be better suited to your needs and what you are used to. However, if you're someone who wants a large amount of flavour and your nicotine intake isn’t a priority, then DTL vape kits may be for you.
