However, this is but a thing of the past now thanks to the ever-growing popularity of DTL (direct-to-lung) vaping which has allowed for advancements in technology, and this is seen greatly in the sub-ohm vape tanks. Sub-ohm tanks are devices that allow for the use of sub-ohm coils. Sub-ohm coils have a resistance that is less than one ohm, which allows for more power to be transferred through the coil. What e-liquid is best with sub-ohm tanks?
Finding the right e-liquid for your vape tank is important. Because sub-ohm vaping is about large cloud production, an airer vape and delicious flavour hits, it is best to use high-VG e-liquids. Our range of 100ml shortfills are ideal for those who want a sub-ohm vape.
Shortfill e-liquids have no nicotine in them, and as such are commonly combined with nic shots to provide that hit of nicotine. There is a 10ml slot saved in the shortfill e-liquid for adding your preferred nic shot.
Can I use nic salt e-liquid in my sub-ohm vape tank?
Nicotine salts are not designed for use with sub-ohm vaping because sub-ohm vape tanks vapourise e-liquids at a much higher temperature than MTL devices, and as such the throat hit would be far too harsh and the hit of nicotine would be too much due to the large amount of vapour that is created.
Can you use a sub-ohm tank on a MTL device?
The short answer is no. MTL devices are designed for the opposite purpose of DTL vape. They are intended for discreet clouds, and as such the batteries used are far less powerful than the ones a sub-ohm vape tank requires.
